The Stealth Carbon technology represents innovation in the development and refinement of carbon fiber within the Mondraker range. This evolved technology harnesses all the experience gained in aluminum frame manufacturing and applies it to high-quality carbon, maintaining standards of innovation, superior quality, minimal weight, and maximum strength. Meticulous positioning of each carbon fiber layer is essential, adapting the direction and quality of fibers to each particular type and model of bicycle. The result is a frame that offers the best combination of strength, structural rigidity, terrain impact absorption, and lightness, with exceptional reliability and the distinctive, attractive design characteristic of Mondraker.
Advantages:
This model features the innovative “Zero Suspension System” technology from Mondraker, with significant improvements and optimizations. It introduces a new kinematic configuration where the shock absorber is positioned lower, along with a more compact, rigid, and lightweight swingarm design. This kinematic improvement results in greater initial sensitivity and improved absorption capacity.
The ZERO system is exclusive to Mondraker, individually designed and optimized for each dual-suspension bicycle model. It is a virtual pivot suspension system with a dual-link design. A unique feature of ZERO is the placement of the shock absorber, which is float-mounted between both suspension links, compressing it from both ends. This exclusive arrangement makes the rear suspension highly sensitive to small imperfections and absorbent to larger impacts.
The main advantages of the ZERO system include zero energy loss during pedaling, no negative effects on pedaling, imperceptible chain stretch throughout the suspension travel, no interference with braking, and exceptional ability to absorb any type of terrain irregularity while keeping the rear wheel firmly planted.
The TQ-HPR50 system includes a compact motor, an integrated and removable 360Wh battery in the diagonal tube, a 2-inch integrated display on the top tube, and the option to add a 160Wh range extender. Together, the system weighs 3.9kg, with the motor contributing 1,850 grams and the battery 1,830 grams. The TQ range extender weighs 950 grams.
Offering assistance in three modes in a very natural way and with minimal noise, the TQ-HPR50 system can provide a maximum power of up to 300 watts and a motor assistance of 50Nm. Regarding autonomy, there are various factors that can influence the total range, but as a reference, a cyclist of medium weight around 75kg can cover a route of 3-4 hours and about +1000m of elevation gain with the support of ECO and MID modes for about 40-50km. The 160Wh range extender can increase autonomy by up to 50%.
